Food for Friends- Part of our food pantry program, these food items are distributed on the 4th Saturday of each month. The benefits are entitled to those who meet specific government requirements. Please contact the church office (770-943-1738) for more information on these requirements.
Mobile Food Pantry- This part of our food pantry program is distributed on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 3 pm to 5 pm. These benefits are open to everyone in need and carry no specific requirements.
Clothing Closet- Available during “Food for Friends” Saturdays, by appointment, or in the case of emergency.
Medical Testing- We work with Wellstar Medical System, and others, to periodically provide preventative health screenings during the Mobile Food Pantry.
Annual Mission Trips- Different groups within the church participate in local, national and international mission trips. Past examples include youth members taking part in the River of Life mission program in Paulding County, and several church members traveling to Mississippi help in the recovery efforts following the severe flooding in the area.
Summer Children’s Lunch Program- The United Methodist Women’s group partner with other local churches to help provide lunches to children in need during the summer months.
Murphy Harpst Children’s Center and the United Methodist Children’s Home- We offer support to the worthy institutions through special offerings and collections.
